Hey everyone. It's Collin 00:00:01 here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the Mini Light Bar from Buyers Products. Now this amber and clear colored warning light, it's going to be a great and handy tool to have in your vehicle. Some common uses for it might be plow trucks, tow trucks, landscapers, or even if you had to lead or to follow in a wide load situation. Maybe if you just need to be visible and need to let people know that you're working, and they need to keep their distance or just to go around you, then it's going to do a great job with that.It's going to have 24 LED mini diodes.

Half of them are going to be amber, and half of them are going to be clear. You can see they go all away around the perimeter of the light, and the flash pattern you see is just one of 10. We can go ahead and show you a few. We're not going to flip through them all. So we'll switch to the second one.

You see that they're very different, so you can just get to however you feel is right. Now one benefit there might be of having the two colors is that it's going to draw more attention because there's two separate colors instead of just the one.Now with the light off we can take a closer look at the light itself. We see that we're going to have six different sections of LED diodes. Each section is going to have four different lights. I'm going to pick it up real quick, so you can see there's four and four, and there's going to be one set on each side, and then two more on this back side.Now let's also go over the mounting options you have.

You do have two different ways to mount it. You see right there, we're just using two magnets, which come with the light. Right here we're going to have nice rubber protective coating on it to make sure it doesn't harm or scratch the finish of your vehicle. Now with a truck like this where we have these kind of ridges going over the top, you want to make sure you don't get it too far forward to where it's kind of angled down under your hood. But thankfully this one lined up pretty good with those ridges so we can set it right on top right there.

See the magnets have a very good hold, so high winds and stuff like that is not going to affect it. Now you do have an option to permanently mount it with the included hardware. Just keep in mind you will have to drill in the roof of your vehicle.Now how it draws its power, it uses the 12 volt accessory outlet in your vehicle. You're going to have the plugin right here. We're also going to have a 15 foot power cord, so no matter where you want to put it on your roof you should be able to reach that outlet. Now we have it coming down our passenger side just so it doesn't get in the way of our steering wheel or fall down to our pedals because it is 15 feet long. I would advise doing that, but it's totally up to you.So we'll come over to our accessory outlet and plug it in. Once you plug it in, we're going to have two switches on the back of our plug. The bottom with that red light, once we flip that you see it lights up letting us know that our light bar is currently lit up right now and has its flash pattern going. Now how you cycle through your flash patterns, you push this top button right there. Once you push it once it's going to switch to the next flash pattern. And that's just how you cycle through and figure out which one you want. When you're all done and your light doesn't need to be on any more, to flip the switch off . you see the red light went off signaling that our light bar is now off.Now a couple things I really like about this light is one, it has that magnetic mount option, so it can be removable. Personally, I want to be able to take my light off when I'm not using it. It just makes that very easy, and it's low profile makes it very easy to store. You can go under your seat, you can go in your glove box, just wherever you see is fit. The other thing I really like is that its got the LEDs rather than the incandescent bulbs. LEDs make a great replacement for incandescents. They're going to shine a lot brighter. They're going to last longer, and they're not going to take as much energy away from your battery while they're turned on, so you're not going to have to worry about jumping your car if you have them on with your vehicle off.Thank you all for watching.
